Big Brother 5 - 2004

Big Brother 5 - 2004
Now, before i start again i have previously reviewed the first 4 series of Big Brother but they have been removed. If i get time i'll re-post them.

Big Brother 5 was trailed as 'Evil Big Brother' and was the first time that the show's Logo was just a eye without the words 'BIG BROTHER' as the Eye is enough to recognize it.

Davina McCall returned to present the Main show with Dermot O'Leary returning for Big Brother's Little Brother.

As far as the house goes, it is one of the best they have made. The House was made a 1/3 smaller than previously thought. The fact that Housemates had to go outside to get to the bedroom was genius! They couldn't go through the living room ect to the Bedroom.

Now, i've re-watched the WHOLE of Big Brother 2004 and i enjoyed it. It was the best series i'd seen since Big Brother 7 (2006 which I've also re-watched). The Housemates were outrageous! But i think that made the series even more enjoyable to watch. The Bedsit task in which Emma and Michelle were 'Evicted' and moved into the Bedsit was a work of genius! The fact they had to decide on which Housemate got cold showers and punishments made great viewing. Also the live tasks in which the Prize Fund was reduced if they lost was also amazing. I think that was a great twist.

Now Big Brother 2004 was very different than i thought. As i watched Big Brother 2010 (11) first it was clearly obvious that the series had changed. The basic format stayed but i think Series 5 had improved it.

I think I'd rate Big Brother...
9/10

The next Big Brother review i'll be doing will be of Big Brother 7 (2006)

Gavin And Stacey - Series 3 - 2009/2010

Gavin and Stacey - Series Three - 2009/2010

Sorry it's been a LONG time since i reviewed Gavin and Stacey! But here we go

The Third series of Gavin and Stacey for me was the best apart from the first. Now in the Third Series, Gavin and Stacey are back together and are now living in Barry at Stacey's Mums. Through the series we see Stacey and Gavin go through more true to life situations such as trying for a Baby and also Nessa and Dave's Engagement and Half a Wedding.

Now i thought that the series was..Kind of sad because we knew it was coming to a end and that there wouldn't be any more but apart from that the series was packed with different themes for the episodes. The Acting in the series was just amazing. The connection between Jo (Stacey) and Matt (Gavin) was electric! I felt as if they were actually married. It was sensational!

The Almost Wedding scene where Smithy (James Corden) brings back Baby Neil to Nessa (Ruth Jones) and that Dave leaves is very sad

Overall i enjoyed the series.

Doctor Who - Series 7 - 2012/2013 Split.

Hey Everyone. Now before i fully get onto the blog post i'm SO SORRY! I haven't posted in a while i've been busy! And the second i promise to get posting more often! Anyway onto the post

Moffat and Doctor Who.

Ok so many of you may of heard that Steven Moffat has decided to concentrate more on Sherlock this year than on Doctor Who. Now the BBC Have said that there are 14 episodes ready to be put into production with Matt Smith but how come they have to be aired over two years? I completely understand this years split after the reveal of River Song but the 2012/2013 split? Two years!

My thoughts on this are as follows. WHY THE HELL ARE YOU DOING THIS!? I don't understand! We are getting less DW Every year! Ever since 2005 we had a single 13 episode run (We would be on Episode 9 this week) Until 2010 and then we get this split. I think personally that it is because that the Production team and Moffat are running out of ideas to spill into scripts. Or it's because the BBC Have bust their budget on the current series.

Moffat has Sherlock and i think he's beginning to care more about Sherlock than Doctor Who. Now i hate Sherlock personally but if you don't sorry but it's my opinion. Yeah GREAT! If you like it but i can't believe it!

I know this blog has maybe been a waste of time as i've rushed it to get all of my thoughts down but MOFFAT WHY DO THIS?! I'm annoyed and completely shocked at what i heard. Doctor Who is to me the best part of BBC TV Every year and is a important part of the BBC'S Spring/Summer schedule! They are making a big mistake! I understand they may have to much to take on but i'm just totally..I don't even have a word!

RTD (Russell T Davies) Was guaranteed to give us a Series. I know we had specials in 2009 but that was because David (Tennant) was LEAVING And he has commitments to theater but i still think the BBC Could afford to produce at least 10 episodes like a Series of Torchwood. (As Miracle Day is 10 Episodes)

Thats my Blog! Sorry if it seems bit all over the place but i wanted to get my opinions out.

Thanks for reading! Remember tweet me at @jarroddaniel 1, Comment below or Youtube me on www.youtube.com/jdardudwy! Leave your thoughts with me!

Friends - Series 1 - 10

Friends - Series 1 - 10

Friends! Finally got round to it.

If anyone hasn't watched Friends i'll just give you a little information snippet.

Friends is a US series created by David Crane and Marta Kauffman, which started on September 2nd 1994. The series ran until May 6th 2004 and had a total of 236 episodes. The Series is basically about a group of friends (Joey, Chandler, Monica, Rachel, Ross and Phoebe) who all live in the same apartment block and are all best friends. Throughout the 10 series the story includes Ross and Rachel's relationship, Phoebe giving birth and Chandler and Monica's relationship which they try to keep a secret from the others.

I really really enjoyed watching Friends, and i am certain that I've seen each episode over three times. The Series is just amazing i could watch friends all day everyday without fail! I just love the way the characters are written and the story lines are really funny. Each episode is really funny too. The Characters are just so realistic and down to earth which makes it funny and easier to watch. Also i love the way gags are just replayed through out the 10 series!

The last episode was upsetting because it was finally the end of a long series in which a lot of people enjoyed through out its run. The fact that the stage where Friends was recorded was also re-named 'The Friends Stage' makes the series last forever. It is a series which should be watched for many years to come, no matter how old the person, its just a really great series and it's just. WOW!

Doctor Who - Series 2 - 2006

Doctor Who - Series Six - 2006

Sorry I haven't posted in a while guys been busy. But i'm back now and on with the review!
Series 2 of Doctor Who, is my favorite. David Tennant is The Doctor, his first series and Billie Piper returns as Rose Tyler. All together the series is amazing. The Episodes are very well written and acted out. The Chemistry between The Doctor and Rose in this series is a deeper love compared to Series 1 where the two characters had just met.

Also inside this series, the monsters suit ALL of the stories and the series also sees the return of The Cybermen and Daleks..In one story! For me the series also includes the saddest Doctor Who Story i've seen to date. (Army Of Ghosts/Doomsday - Episodes 12/13). The Way Billie acts out the story makes you feel like the WhoUniverse is real, and not just inside your head or in fiction.

The Whole series is just amazing after all i love the whole thing, but the only thing that lets it down is Episode 10 (Love And Monsters) i understand the fact that while filming the episode, David And Billie were stuck filming Episodes 8/9, but the episode could have been much better.

However that aside i think that Series Two was amazing and everyone should love the way its written and acted out!

Lemony Snicket's A Series Of Unfortunate Events - 2004

Lemony Snicket's A Series Of Unfortunate Events - 2005

(First Movie Review, Be Nice!)

A Series Of Unfortunate Events is a 2004 comedy movie starring the amazing and funny Jim Carrey.

The Film is all about three children, Violet, Clause and Sunny, who's home and parents are destroyed in a fire, which was started by unfortunate events. The children are placed in the hands of Count Olaf, who is only interested in getting the fortune that the children's parents left behind. The children are then moved onto another guardian, Dr Montgomery Montgomery. However Count Olaf is right behind them and trying to get them back, he kills Montgomery and escapes. The children are again placed with another guardian who Count Olaf, again kidnaps. In the end the Children are placed back with Count Olaf, who plans to marry Violet for the fortune. The Plan fails and Olaf is found guilty. The film ends with the children speeding towards their new home away from the Count and their destroyed home, into the future.

Now i know this film was released in 2004 but i didn't see the film untill quite recently in June 2010. I fell in love with the whole thing and i can't stop watching it. I love the way its written and acted out by everyone involved its a really good film. Its a really good family film to watch, no wonder it was a hit.

The film is set on the series of books written by Lemony Snicket and i think its one of the best film adaptations since i watched Harry Potter. I just love this film and the challenges which face the children all the way through the film such as the snakes, the house on the cliff and more. I really do recommend this film to ANYONE it is a really must watch films and just has a story which will charm everyone

Benidorm - Series One - 2007

Benidorm - Series One - 2007

Benidorm is a very popular ITV Comedy program set in Benidorm, Spain. Its mostly set inside the all-inclusive hotel the Solana Resort.

Series One was a very good series, very well written and very funny. The main characters such as Janice, Madge and others are beautifully written and portrayed by very good actors. The Series doesn't really include a storyline but does include some shocks such as Chantelle being pregnant and Kate's affair with Mateo, the only spanish character in the whole series.

The Series was very enjoyable to watch and full of laughs, i could watch them all day and not get bored. The fact that its set and filmed in a real-life location in Benidorm makes it feel realistic compared to some TV Shows, its how some couples and families actually spend their holidays.

I would say that the series was very well thought up and made and the decision to create a second series was a really good idea. While im here i would like to congratulate 'Benidorm' on wining Most Popular Comedy Program at the National Television Awards 2011.
